Fabric Bearings

Westley Plastics manufacture and supply both fabric bearings and bearings manufactured from our Westlon materials.

Fabric bearings are designed as a cost effective alternative to expensive white metal applications and are traditionally used in rolling mills across the globe. Westley Plastics is one of only a very small number of manufacturers globally that is still able to manufacture and supply fabric bearings.

Westley Plastics can also provide bearings for a wide variety of applications. Manufactured from our oil-filled nylon, Westlon M, the lubrication is dispersed evenly throughout the material, meaning no additional lubrication is needed.

Westlon M also offers high impact strength and good chemical resistance meaning it is well suited for bearing applications.
